Live Action Role Playing
2023 - ongoing
In the recent years, my artistic research has been directed towards playfulness and towards building playful installations at the borders between economics, pervasive practices in the city and social anthropology.
These installations, often accompanied by a protocol, are activated by the public and aim to stimulate empathy, and foster alternative collective narratives.
Over the past years, I've been exploring the world of life-size role-playing games in general, and more specifically the world of traditional Nordic role-playing games (internationally known as LARP, Live Action Role Play). These are simulation games for adults that address social themes and have a highly experimental component.

2024
During a local festival, in June 2024, I’ve facilitated “Ceremony of Hope” a game written by Nina Lund Westerdahl et Thibault Schiemann. The game has been adapted to become a permanent installation that could be experienced by visitors autonomously even outside the game. The proposed game, Ceremony of Hope, is a larp about the feeling of hopelessness in the face of climate change.
